In principle there are two ways to create your performance indicators: You can either create and amend them one by one with Opal3's dynamic interface [Add] or you can upload them in bulk with the Microsoft Excel based import utility [Import].
Because the import template doesn't carry a lot of instructions, we strongly recommend that you start out by using the dynamic interface [Add] / [Change]. Once you've created a few indicators you'll find it easy enough to begin using [Import].
Simply complete all of the relevant information in each of the sections on the [Add] page:
Note that an indicator can have any combination of non-financial, financial, future and risk information. This determines the information an owner has to supply for each record.
