Setting up your “Forced Choice” data types

Here you can define any number of forced choice indicators with any number of levels and anchor labels.

Examples include

  • Project Phase: Initiation -- Planning -- Execution -- Monitoring & Control -- Closure & Evaluation

  • Level of achievement: Achieved -- Not Achieved

  • Delivery: Too Early -- On Time -- Delayed

  • Level of agreement: eg, Strongly Agree -- Agree -- Neither Agree nor Disagree -- Disagree -- Strongly Disagree

To set up a forced choice indicator type, e.g., Project Phase

  1. [Add] Forced Choice Type = Project Phase

  2. [Add] the first Forced Choice Option, 1 = Initiation

  3. [Add] the second Forced Choice Option, 2 = Planning

Once you have defined your forced choice indicator type, it will become available as a non-financial response option during indicator setup.
